Frequently Asked Questions
Got a question? Want to know more?
We’ve answered the most common ones right here, from how our sprints work to what you need to get started.
If you’re not sure where to begin or want to know what to expect, this is a great place to start.
You choose a sprint based on your biggest priority: messaging, campaigns, or lead magnet.
We kick things off with a briefing call, map out the deliverables, and spend 7 focused days building something that gets results.
If none of the listed sprints fit what you need, or you would prefer to start with a conversation, please get in touch, and we can explore options together.
We do. We're senior marketers with decades worth of experience. We don't outsource or hand off to freelancers. You work directly with the people doing the work - us.
If you're stuck, stretched, or just need marketing to move your business in a short space of time, this is for you.
We work best with founders, lean teams, and marketers who want clarity, speed, and senior input without the long agency process.
Yes, but we work over 7 working days, not calendar days. So while it’s not 7 consecutive days, it’s still incredibly fast, focused, and far quicker than most marketing turnarounds.
No problem. We can help you figure that out. Simply get in touch with us. A short conversation is often enough to clarify the right starting point.
It depends on the sprint:
Lead Magnet and Email
You’ll need a live website and/or social media page or plans to set one up, before we can get started.
You’ll also need a CRM/email platform to track and optimise results. We work well with HubSpot, but if you don’t already have one, we can help you get started with free tools such as Mailchimp, MailerLite, or our top pick, Brevo. We can discuss the advantages and limitations of each.
We’ll also need login access to these tools and a domain-based email address for deliverability. If you have tracking set up (like Google Analytics) and brand assets (brochures, flyers, blogs, brand guidelines) ready, even better, but not essential.
Quick Wins Campaign
You’ll need a clear campaign goal, although this is something we can help you define if it is not fully formed yet.
We’ll need access to the key platforms involved, such as your website, email system, CRM, and any advertising accounts you plan to use, including Meta, Google, or LinkedIn.
We’ll develop the campaign idea and share 3 options for you to choose from. We’re also happy to take direction if you already have ideas in mind. If you’ve run campaigns before, sharing performance details is extremely helpful, as it allows us to understand what has and has not worked in the past.
We handle the campaign structure, copy, and set-up; however, any external costs, such as advertising spend, remain your responsibility.
If there’s anything you’re unsure about, please get in touch, and we’ll be happy to advise.
Brand Positioning
Details of what your business does and who it's for. If you’ve got existing copy (blogs, articles, brochures etc), audience insight, or past messaging, great. If not, we’ll ask the right questions to get what we need.
Yes, the price advertised is fixed and is non-negotiable.
Before starting, we’ll reiterate the full scope of work with you. After your initial call, we’ll send an agreement outlining this, along with our terms. Any additional work outside of this agreed scope will be charged at £45 per hour. We’ll always discuss and confirm any extra costs with you beforehand.
Yes. There are built-in checkpoints where you can review and give feedback, so you’ll always know where things stand.
If feedback includes anything outside our agreed scope, we’ll always discuss and confirm any extra costs with you beforehand. Additional work will cost £45 per hour and must be paid in advance before the additional work begins.
No. The core principles of good marketing apply across all industries.
We’ve worked with start-ups, service businesses, nonprofits, and global brands.
What matters most is your goal and whether we’re a good fit for the kind of progress you’re trying to make.
You’ll get final deliverables and a short handover guide. If you need help implementing or want to build on the work, we offer optional follow-up support.
Yes. Every sprint includes up to 3 rounds of minor edits within 7 working days of delivery.
We recommend carefully reviewing your sprint as soon as it’s delivered so you can share feedback within the edit window.
These minor edits cover small refinements like text tweaks, colour changes, link updates, or layout adjustments. Minor edits are light adjustments that don’t affect the overall structure, copy direction, or platform setup.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Updating button text or colours
- Replacing an image or link
- Adjusting spacing or headlines
What we don’t include are major scope changes or rebuilds that fall outside the sprint.
That includes things like:
- Rewriting all the copy or changing the overall tone
- Designing new assets or additional pages
- Rebuilding the project on a different platform (e.g.,“Can you turn this landing page into a full website instead?”, “Can you move everything over to Shopify instead?”)
- Adding extra emails, graphics, or campaign variations
Because our sprints are short, focused, and fully scoped before we begin, we ask for 70% payment upfront and 30% upon delivery.
If any work falls outside of the agreed scope, it will be charged at £45 per hour and must be paid in advance before the additional work begins.
Generally, no. We’re a small team, and while we work quickly, we want to ensure every sprint is completed to the highest standard. That’s why we only take on a small number of sprints at a time.
In some cases, it may make sense for two sprints to run concurrently if they closely tie together. If that applies to your situation, we’ll discuss it with you and plan the best approach.
Lead Generation
You’ll walk away with a complete lead generation package, including a lead magnet, email sequence, and a basic CRM setup or sign-up flow, all designed to help you attract, capture, and nurture leads effectively.
Lead Magnet
This is a gated resource that potential customers can access by sharing their contact information. It could be a guide, template, report, e-book or checklist, up to 5 pages. We’ll help you decide which format fits your business best.
Email Sequence
We’ll draft up to 6 nurture emails with a workflow that automatically follows up with new leads. This helps you build relationships and move potential customers closer to conversion.
Landing Page and Sign up Form
Your lead magnet will sit on a dedicated landing page (as evergreen content) with the option to be promoted through ads. Advertising costs (e.g., on social media or search platforms) are separate and paid directly to the advertiser. We’ll go through all your options and help you choose the most effective approach for your goals and budget.
To keep the sprint fast and friction-free, we build the landing page on our platform.. If you would prefer the page to live on your own website, please have access to your website backend and permissions ready so we can assess what is feasible within the sprint timeframe. The landing page will also include a form to collect the leads that come through.
Basic CRM Setup or Sign-up Flow
We’ll handle the basic setup of your CRM, including connecting the landing page form to your CRM, drafting the initial emails (up to 6 emails) and mapping out the entire customer journey, from when someone first signs up to when they receive your follow-up messages. This ensures a smooth, professional experience for your leads from start to finish.
Promotional Assets
4 promotional assets customised to the channels you plan to use, whether that’s social media, your email list, or paid ads. Each asset is designed to help you promote your lead magnet effectively, boost engagement, and generate downloads as soon as you launch.
Our goal in the end is to leave you with a lead generation system that consistently brings in leads and runs with minimal ongoing effort.
At the end of the sprint, you’ll have a complete, fully built campaign that’s ready to launch. The campaign will be built around one clear objective and one measurable outcome, with a structure that keeps execution focused and easy to manage.
Full Campaign Plan
A clear campaign plan built around a defined goal and measurable outcomes. It covers the target audience, core message, timeline, estimated budget (if relevant) and a full communication schedule. Delivery channels and KPIs are also included, giving you a structured campaign that can be executed with confidence.
Campaign Assets
All required campaign assets created and ready to deploy. This may include email copy, landing page, design assets and ads depending on the campaign.
Setup and Tracking
Campaign setup completed so assets are connected correctly and performance can be tracked from launch. This ensures the campaign is measurable, and ready to review.
Please note: If your campaign includes external costs such as advertising spend or platform fees, these are paid directly by you to the relevant provider and will be included in your estimated budget where applicable. Once the campaign is live, the day to day management sits with you unless otherwise agreed. Ongoing support beyond the sprint can be discussed and priced separately. However, we provide a clear handover so you understand how the campaign is set up and how to manage updates, monitoring, and follow up.
At the end of this sprint, you will have a clear, practical positioning and messaging foundation that you can use immediately across your website, campaigns, and sales conversations. The focus is on clarity and alignment, not lengthy documentation.
Brand Positioning Statement
A clear, one page positioning statement that defines who you are, what you do, who you are for, and why you are the right choice. This acts as a reference point for future marketing and messaging decisions.
Messaging Cheat Sheet
Three core messaging pillars with primary and supporting messages tailored to your audience and industry. These pillars provide consistent themes you can apply across your website, emails, social content, and campaigns.
Audience and ICP Insights
A concise report of up to three pages outlining your ideal customer profile, including goals, challenges, motivations, objections, and key decision drivers. This gives you a grounded understanding of who you are speaking to and how to reach them.
Brief Market Analysis
A high level view of your market landscape, highlighting common messaging patterns and opportunities to differentiate, so your positioning is informed by context rather than guesswork.
Everything is delivered in clear, usable formats, with examples on how to apply the outputs across your marketing once the sprint is complete.
